in other news headache is gone and I'm starting to be more cheerful in general thanks to that.. ^_^

After reading more about the allegations and what went down, I'm disappointed in the way Joe Pa handled it when he was told, but if he didn't know the full extent of the problem I can't hold him completely at fault and he did testify and from what I've been told he went through the proper channels at the time..

Okay I have to get back to work its really busy today.. blech.. at least I'm nearly half way there.. 

Never made it on the computer yesterday so I'm doing 2 days today to makeup for it..

Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item.


My Anhk is something I've had forever.. or at least for about 15 years now. My mom bought it for me for my adoption day which is on March 25th when I was 13 years old. I've lost it 2x in my life (first time I thought it had been stolen out of my gym locker in HS .. some of my clothes had been stolen.. ended up finding it a few months later in my book bag, the 2nd time was summer when I went to the dress shop to try on the sample dress so I could order shoews and a head piece.. My mom actually had found it and returned it to me several weeks later)

I wear this piece of jewelery everday possible. It is my goodluck charm. I even have an anhk tattooed on my back. This goes back to when I was a kid obsessed with Egyptian history and mythology.

Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh.
I've posted this before.. and I still think its hilarious..someone at work actually has it as the background on their PC which reminded me of it.. enjoy!

This challenge is becoming a bit predictable.. lol.. my favorite memory is getting married.. hahaa.. it was a great day with the firemen and all.. This pic is specifically after Chris and I are announced at the reception.. everyone is blowing bubbles and we came in to the Dropkick Murphy's Shipping Up to Boston.. gotta love that intro man! It was a fabulous day we had great weather which means no snow.. haha.. good food, good people and good music.. we had 2 mishaps that day that just make it more memorable.. first someone put the marriage license back in storage after setting up which delayed our photo session during the cocktailish time.. then the omlette station set off the fire alarms and we had to evacuate while waiting for the fireman.. but that just meant some more time for Chis and I to visit with our guests and get shots of us with the firemen.. lol.. it did cause some other aspects to get rushed a bit but over all it was a great day.. and the start of a great week and what will hopefully be a great marriage.. ^_^

My favorite night of recent was the night of my Wedding day.. aka Halloween.. with my hair and makeup still done all fancy but in normal street clothes Chris, myself, my best friend Cordy, her husband Chaim, and my friends Shayne and Aparna all went to Woody's Woodfire Pizza in Golden for dinner. They all had late night flights back and we had an early morning flight so we figured we'd hang out. It was fun. Cordy and Shayne kept trying to figure out the background of one of the cooks, the manager gave Chris and I each a free shot of Jameson.. (>_< I actually took it too..) in honor of getting married and mainly it was just nice to be with good friends.

If its scorching out the movie theater.. if its just hot out maybe the beach but in my experience the hotter it is the busier the beaches.. so a nice quiet cold theater for an afternoon matinee hits the spot.. I also now live in a land locked state and a lake is not the same as the ocean.. haha..

Today is the first friday I have to work.. meh.. oh well I just need to remind myself I had Monday off AND at 7pm tonight I am officially checking out until a week from Saturday.. so Yay!

I can't believe John Hughes died.. I wish I owned some of his movies.. like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Breakfast Club.. two movies I love..

8. Out (it introduced me to Japanese murder Mystery novels.. yay!)
9. Harry Potter 1-7 ( I know thats more then 1 book but I love the whole series)
10. Night of the Wolf (because Anne Rice's Sister can write too!)
11. Gone with the Wind (because I liked every character EXCEPT Scarlet.. haha)
12. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (I like the movie and am currently reading this book)
13. Great Expectations (Ms. Havisham rules)
14. New Moon ( because I actually like Jacob and am looking forward to this movie)
15. The Witching Hour (because it is one of my fav Anne Rice novels)

These aren't all the best books or fav.. just the first 15 that came to me.. and that is why I put why they are on this list next to them.. because while I am one of the people that liked the Twilight books.. I'd never say they were in my top fav books..
